All browsers come with some basic spelling check these days but it’s far from perfect to even be close to enough for day to day work. If you are one who works mostly in your browser throughout your daily work, you need something better. Grammarly for one.
And Microsoft Editor for another, a browser extension that could be your intelligent writing assistant, helping strengthen your spelling, grammar, and style of your writing.
When you first install the extension, a dimmed Editor icon is added to your browser’s toolbar. Clicking on it brings up a sign-in window.

Sign in with your Microsoft account to get the most out of the app. If your account is already a Microsoft 365 premium account, you can even get more advanced features like Refinements and advanced grammar checking.
By default, it’s available on all sites you are about to write, whether writing an email in Outlook web, a document in Word online, or tweeting something interesting in your Twitter feed.

Whenever you see an underline showing under any words, tap it to see all the suggested revisions. It works not only on the basics of spellings and grammar,

but also help things like clarity, formality, and concise as well, if you are a Microsoft 365 subscriber.

Currently, Microsoft Editor extension is only available for Google Chrome and Microsoft’s own Edge browser. It’s free with Microsoft account that provides spelling and basic grammar check.
